Meet the Sacramento Team Behind Woolsey Insulation Sacramento
We’ve always believed the person who shows up at your door matters as much as the material that goes in your attic. Our Sacramento crew is small on purpose: four people who’ve worked together long enough to read each other’s hand signals across a dusty attic floor. No rotating cast of subcontractors, no mystery faces. When you call Woolsey Insulation Sacramento, the person who answers the phone knows the person who’ll climb your ladder, and all of us know what a Sacramento summer does to a home’s top floor. We’re independently owned and operated under the Kingswell banner, which means the standards are ours to keep, every single day.
Our People
Glenn Hartley, Owner
Glenn’s been running the insulation side of the Kingswell family of companies since 2002, and he still walks at least one job site a week. He’s the one who set the 365-Day Done Right Promise in motion because he got tired of hearing homeowners describe insulation contractors who disappeared after the check cleared. Ask him about a tricky attic and he’ll tell you about the time he found a 1960s ranch in Land Park with newspaper insulation from the Truman administration. Dry humor, zero pressure, and an honest answer about whether your home actually needs more insulation or just better air sealing. He’d rather lose a sale than sell you something you don’t need.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has eleven years in attics and crawl spaces, the last six of them with our Sacramento crew. He’s certified in spray foam application and can tell you the difference between open-cell and closed-cell by touch, which matters when you’re working in tight spaces with limited light. Marcus is the guy who diagrams the airflow in your attic on the back of a notecard so you understand exactly where your conditioned air is escaping. He’s also the reason our job site cleanup standard exists: he treats every home like his grandmother’s house in Elk Grove, which means drop cloths down, boots covered, and not a single foam shaving left behind.
Dana R., Senior Installer
Dana came to us from a commercial construction background, and she’s been installing residential insulation in Sacramento for eight years. Her specialty is dense-packed cellulose in older homes, the bungalows and foursquares in Midtown and Curtis Park where wall cavities are irregular and patience wins. She holds a lead renovator certification, so if your pre-1978 home needs insulation work, Dana knows the containment protocols cold. Outside of work, she restores a 1920s craftsman in Tahoe Park, which means she’s maddeningly good at understanding how old houses breathe.
Kevin P., Service Coordinator & Apprentice Installer
Kevin is usually the voice you hear when you call Woolsey Insulation Sacramento at 2 a.m. or 2 p.m. He answers every call live, around the clock, and he knows the schedule well enough to give you a straight answer about arrival windows. He’s also two years into his installer training, spending mornings shadowing Marcus on spray foam jobs and afternoons confirming appointments and material orders. Kevin grew up in Rancho Cordova, went to school at Sac State, and still plays rec-league softball on Wednesdays. He’s the reason you’ll never hear a voicemail greeting on our line.
One Standard, Every Job
The Kingswell Way runs through every Woolsey location, but in Sacramento it’s personal because we’re the ones who answer for it. When you book with us, Glenn writes the job up with a specific number before any work starts. You get a written price, a committed arrival window, and the understanding that our crew leaves the site cleaner than they found it. Then it’s simple: the 365-Day Done Right Promise means if anything isn’t right within a full year, we come back and fix it at no charge, in writing, on every job. Background-checked, uniformed technicians show up on time and answer questions plainly. That’s not corporate policy to us. That’s Marcus, Dana, and Kevin doing the work, with Glenn standing behind them. Call (279) 972-8973 and you’ll reach Kevin or another real person, any hour, any day.
